Wu tai mountain
The wutai mountain ,of five-terrace mountain ,240kilomerters north of taiyuan ,is the first of the four famous Buddhist mountains in the country .the temples on the mountains are known for their long history and large size .The five terrace are the wanghai peak ;the eastern terrace; jinxiu peak, the southern peak ;guayue peak ,the western terrace;yedou peak ,the northern peak cuiyan peak,the central peak .The beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural and historical interest of the mountain have attracted a countless number of visitors, including emperors who built temples and high monks who came to preach ,.Buddhist believers and sightseers from both china and abroad cone in a steady stream to worship and pray or enjoy the sights.
